Tennis star Casper Ruud, who also seems to be a star in the tennis documentary Break Point on Netflix, has been dating Maria Galligani since 2018. The young Norwegian pair have travelled the world together for Ruud's events over the years, and Galligani has stayed by her boyfriend's side while he climbed in the rankings.

The Norway-born star's career started back in June 2022, when he advanced to the French Open Grand Slam final. Following the same, he qualified for Wimbledon 2022 as the third seed owing to the tournament.

Talking about his stint, Ruud defeated Frenchman Ugo Humbert in the second round of Wimbledon after winning the first round. In addition, Galligani backed Ruud again at the US Open, where the tennis pro rose to a new career-high position of No. 2 in the world. However, he emerged victorious at the Geneva Open 2024, ahead of the French Open 2024.

Meanwhile, talking about his girlfriend, Galligani is also from Norway, just like Ruud, and the couple currently resides in Oslo. According to her LinkedIn page, she studied psychology at Oslo Nye Høyskole from 2017 to 2020 and received her degree. She graduated from the University of Southern Denmark in 2022 with a master's degree in psychology.

The couple went public with their relationship in 2018

The couple went public with their relationship in 2018, but it's unclear when they first started dating. In addition to this, Ruud shared his first Instagram photo with Galligani.

Ruud was the first Norwegian to qualify for a Grand Slam main draw in seventeen years when he played in his first major tournament of the year, the Australian Open. However, he was eliminated in the second round only.

On Valentine's Day, Ruud posted a photo of the couple donning formal attire, captioned, "My valentine every day, see you soon."

After Ruud competed at the US Open, she posted a message of support alongside a photo of the couple.

"So proud of you, my love, and your amazing team," she captioned the post, per Tennis Tonic.
