The Halle Open was a great tournament to watch and one of the best performances of current World number 1 Jannik Sinner, who won his first title on the grass court after beating Hubert Hurkacz in two straight tiebreaker sets. This was a match to watch out for which included some of the top players in the game. It has been a treat to watch the Italian sensation in this season as he reaches big heights at such a young age.

The match might have not been the easiest of matches for Sinner despite the straight victory and he still had to perform under pressure against the Polish number 1, who had defeated Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals. However, it was still a tournament dominated by Jannik Sinner and it seems like he will continue his run at the top of the rankings after this ATP 500 victory, which included some great performances.

Sinner in the elite list after Halle

There is no doubt that the Halle Open is one of the best performances of Sinner this season and this is currently his 14th singles ATP title. This has already been a peak season for Sinner. However, this feat has also put him among the best in the World as he is the first Italian and second man overall to win the Halle Open as the World number 1. The only player to do it before him is none other than the Swiss Maestro Roger Federer who has also dominated this tournament in the past. It is already a massive achievement for him to have his name in the history books with one of the biggest legends in the game.

This has been a great season for Sinner and he has achieved all this at the age of just 22. We all will be looking forward to seeing him play this season and break more records. He is one of the favourites in the upcoming Wimbledon, where he only managed to reach the semi-final last season. He will be looking to finally win the major Grass Court season title and remain one of the top dogs in the game.
