Interestingly, Kalinskaya and Sinner, who are dating, find themselves simultaneously competing for titles in Berlin and Halle, respectively, adding a personal and unique dimension to their professional achievements. In a lighthearted moment during her post-match interview, Kalinskaya joked about keeping pace with Sinner's success, stating, "I'm just trying to be a little bit as good as him." Anna Kalinskaya, ranked World No. 24, battled through a gruelling semifinal against former World No. 1 Victoria Azarenka to secure her spot in the Berlin final. The match lasted 2 hours and 10 minutes, featuring a rollercoaster of scores—6-1, 6-7(3), 6-1—in Kalinskaya's favour. Her victory sets up an exciting showdown against either top-seed Coco Gauff or fourth-seed Jessica Pegula from the United States, guaranteeing a clash with a Top 5 player.
