' We send each other messages in good moments...'- Jack Draper discloses his friendship with potential US Open semi final opponent Jannik Sinner

The US Open has been a tournament to follow this season and we have already seen some great matches this season. The Grand Slam this season was filled with exciting matches and surprising results where most of the top 10 best players this season have been eliminated. There have been some upcoming stars this tournament as well who have gone on to impress everyone this tournament.

One of the stars that impressed us a lot was British number one Jack Draper who created history by becoming the first British player to make it to a US Open semi final after Andy Murray. The 22-year-old upcoming star will be playing his First Grand Slam semi final after getting a straight victory over World number 10 Alex de Minaur in the quarter finals. This was really a moment which Draper will not forget at all.

Draper discloses his friendship with Sinner

Though Draper has already created history he will still have a tough semi final game ahead of him where he will be face either World number 5 Daniil Medvedev or World number 1 Jannik Sinner who are both favorites to win the Grand Slam event. When talking about one of his potential semi final opponents, Draper has opened up on his friendship with Sinner saying " Jannik is a good friend, someone I'm close to, We send each other messages in good moments, bad moments." 

These words were enough to diosclose that the two players already have a great bond and it will great to see if their friendship is revisited in the upcomin US Open semi final. It turns out there are a lot of chances that we might see another battle of the best friends which we have only learnt recently about. However, that will also be the day that the two will fight for a place in the finals as well. It is great to see players bonding together during an intense tournament like the US Open and we wish the two all the luck in the world.
