Tennis legend Novak Djokovic has marked his return to the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 tournament. The Serbian legend has two titles to his name, which he clinched in 2013 and 2015. He will be looking to win his third title here and will be etching his name in the history books.

The star player is a two-time finalist here, a three-time semi-finalist, and a two-time quarter-finalist in his illustrious career. The star player has 99 ATP titles to his name and now aims to win his 100th ATP title before ending his historic career.

The 37-year-old star player was last seen in action at the Miami Open 2025 in Florida. The 24-time Grand Slam winners showcased great performance and made it to the finals of the ATP 1000 tournament. However, 19-year-old sensation player Jakub Mensik defeated him in the summit clash and shattered his hopes of winning the 100th ATP title of his legendary career.

Before that, Novak Djokovic was able to make it to the semi-finals of the Australian Open 2025. He made audacious headlines when he defeated world number three Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals, but his grave knee injuries knocked him out against world number two Alexander Zverev. Thereafter, he was badly criticized due to his horrendous show in the Qatar Open 2025 and Indian Wells 2025, where he suffered defeat in his opening round.

“Ever since I won my 99th, which was the Olympic Games in Paris, I've been playing with the prospect of winning the special hundred titles. I played the finals of Shanghai. I was close there. Semi-finals of Australia,” Djokovic said after defeating Grigor Dimitrov in Miami.
