Novak set to participate at Brisbane

Novak Djokovic is set to compete at the Brisbane International, marking an important step in his preparation for the Australian Open, where he aims to secure his 25th Grand Slam title in January.

At 37 years old, Djokovic has already made history as a 10-time champion in Melbourne and currently shares the record for the most Grand Slam singles titles—24—with Australia's Margaret Court. The Brisbane tournament, scheduled from 29 December to 5 January, serves as an ideal warm-up event leading up to the Australian Open, which kicks off on 12 January.

With 99 ATP titles under his belt, Djokovic is determined to become just the third man in the Open era, joining American Jimmy Connors and Swiss Roger Federer, to reach 100 career titles.

The Brisbane field features formidable competitors including Nick Kyrgios, defending champion Grigor Dimitrov, and emerging talent Holger Rune. Recently, Djokovic made a strategic move by appointing Andy Murray as his coach for the Australian Open.

Murray, the former British number one, has faced Djokovic in the Australian Open final on four separate occasions, and this partnership is sure to elevate Djokovic's game.
