Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has won the Monte Carlo Masters title after defeating star player Lorenzo Musetti in the final showdown. The Spain-born star player has earned his first-ever 1000 ATP title this season. Alcaraz has won the game with a scoreline of 3-6, 6-1, 6-0. Earlier, Alcaraz won the ABN AMRO Open 2025, an ATP 500 tournament, following his blistering win over Alex de Minaur in the summit clash in Rotterdam. This win has allowed him to topple Alexander Zverev to become the new world number two.

"I'm just really happy to have won Monte Carlo for the first time. It's been a really difficult week with a lot of difficult situations. I'm really proud of myself for how I've dealt with everything. It's been a really difficult month for me on the court and outside. Coming here and seeing how the whole hard work has paid off, I'm really happy," said Alcaraz, who lost in his first match on his only previous appearance at the tournament in 2022.
