The 19-year-old Tien had a stunning start to the game as he comfortably clinched the first and second sets of the game. However, Medvedev, known for his stunning performances on the hard courts, staged his comeback in the third and fourth sets to level up the game. But it was ultimately Tien who won the fifth and final set of the game and knocked the former finalist out of the marquee event.

What did Learner Tien do after claiming one of the best wins in his career so far?

The 19-year-old teen sensation, currently ranked 121 in the ATP rankings, taught the fifth seed some hard lessons on the court in a late-night blockbuster at Melbourne Park. But what did the young star do after claiming one of the best wins in his career so far? The star player had a pizza party amid a running press conference. His game went for approx. Four hours and 49 minutes, and it seems that he failed to resist his hunger.

When the American sensation sat down for a press conference after the match, Learner Tien was seen chomping down on a pizza on his table while giving his interview.

"I mean, I was definitely hoping it wasn't going to go to a fifth-set tiebreaker. But, you know, either way, just really happy to get a win. I was kind of unsure about my future playing tennis. I wasn’t sure how much I really enjoyed it anymore, just because I’d always played it and I’d played it for so long. I guess my sense of enjoyment in playing it was fading a little bit,” Learner said.
