Tennis star Holger Rune played a magnificent second-round match against Matteo Berrettini in the Australian Open 2025 on January 16, Thursday. The Denmark-born star hits one of the ridiculous passing shots against the Italy-born star in the third set of the game. His shots steal the limelight on Day 5 of the Australian Open, surprising both fans and the tennis community. The video of his game went viral and has been lauded by the tennis fraternity. The two tennis stalwarts looked in a zone at the John Cain Arena in Melbourne, displaying some magnificent forehand shots in the game. The 2021 Wimbledon finalist looked in particular at his booing serves but failed to beat the sheer gift from the Danish star.

Coming to the match dynamics, Rune dropped from the very first game of the second set. After being broken in the opening game, Rune was struggling but managed to win the first set. However, the Italian marked his comeback in the second set of the game, but Denmark's legend showcased his beast form and knocked him out of the 2025 Australian Open after winning the third and fourth sets of the game.
