Rising stars Arthur Fils and Alex de Minaur are currently playing in the ABN Amro Open tennis tour. The two participated in a new challenge called ‘Know your numbers’. Using stats from the last season, the players had to guess the mystery tennis player inside the card.

The first was 'return quality,’ and the two guessed Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev as the best returners. Then they discussed the serve quality, forehand quality and backhand quality and decided that it was Carlos Alcaraz. They both guessed it right, as the mystery player was the Spaniard with 16 career titles.
In round two, they get a little bit confused after seeing the return quality, forehand quality, backhand quality and career titles. But when Arthur Fils sees the service quality as number 1, he guesses it's his fellow countryman Giovanni Perricard.
In round three, after seeing the backhand and forehand quality, they go with Daniil Medvedev. Finally, the two players look at their own cards and compare. Seeing his own card, Alex de Minaur is embarrassed with his serve quality as he was ranked 74th on the tour.
In the recently concluded Australian Open grand slam, fans slammed Alex for his poor show against the world no. 1 Jannik Sinner. The biggest problem he had was his serves and the backhand shots. Despite having the home crowd advantage, Alex was blown away by the Italian’s fierce serve and speed. But overall, the two players, guessing other players on the tour and at the same time looking at their own strengths and weaknesses, are healthy in tennis.
It also helps them know where they want to improve in their game. The Australian has reached the semi-finals of the ABN Amro Open tennis tournament and will face Mattia Belucci. Arthur Fils lost to Daniel Altmaier in the second round and was out of the tournament. Carlos Alcaraz is yet to play against Pedro Martinez in the quarterfinals.
