The tennis World has just witnessed one of the best Laver Cup events where we saw one of the best comebacks from Team Europe who were able to win their 5th title. This was a great contest between the two teams where the first two days more or less belonged to Team World, but it was the final day which made the difference for Team World who had to end the event with a heartbreaking loss.

This was also the last year for John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg who have been the captains in the tournament in all 7 years and have had some great moments. These two have proven why they are some of the most renowned figures in the World of sports and why they were chosen to lead the best players from all around the World in this event. It is safe to say that their contribution will never be forgotten at all.
McEnroe lightens the mood with a savage and hilarious reply during the Press conference
There might have been a moment when John McEnroe was about to win his third consecutive Laver Cup title in his last year, but unfortunately, it was Borg and Team Europe who got the better of them once again. However, this does not mean that McEnroe can still not lighten the mood with his cheeky sense of humour.
During the post-match conference, McEnroe was asked by a reporter what he told his grandkids about his last 7 years of being captain of Team Europe this season, to which McEnroe gave a savage and hilarious reply to the journalist leaving everyone in splits.

This was truly McEnroe at his best when he explained how close he was to winning his third consecutive title how he was stuck answering the questions over the last 7 years and what he would tell his grandchildren. It was great to see the cheeky humour of the American legend.
