WATCH: Jessica Pegula struggles to pose with 'Berlin Bear' trophy after Ladies Open 2024 Final win

Tennis star Jessica Pegula's trophy celebrations left the crowd stunned following her victory in the Ecotrans Ladies Open 2024. Notably, the American won her first WTA trophy in 2024, which is her first-ever on grass, with a 6-7(0), 6-4, 7-6(3) victory over Anna Kalinskaya in the final match. She suffered from a plethora of injuries before making her comeback at the Libema Open in 2024. Meanwhile, star player Aleksandra Krunic would inevitably send her out in the second round.

Following her great victory, Jessica Pegula lifted the iconic "Berlin Bear" trophy in celebration of her win. The Ecotrans Ladies Open trophy was fully shaped like a bear, giving her challenges during the photo shoot compared to other trophies in the sport. In addition to this, the World No. 5 takes a moment to figure out where to kiss the trophy. On the other hand, fans found her struggles amusing, and some even giggled at the Berlin Bear award. An amusing comment was given by a fan on the trophy's different shape, referring to it as a treasure that was acquired from an elderly German woman.

"This is the most grass-court confidence that I've had probably going into Wimbledon. Hopefully, that pays off as well. Being able to tough out a couple of matches and have a couple of long matches, especially for the body to get ready, and dealing with a lot of the rain delays too," Jessica Pegula said (via WTA Tennis).
