Sinner vs Zverev Rally Photograph: (X)
Jannik Sinner played his second Australian Open Grand Slam final against Alexander Zverev and won. Sinner already had two Grand slams and with this victory, he secured three titles. The battle between world no 1 and no 2 is incredible, especially for the fans. The Italian won 6-3, 7(7)-6(4), 6-3 in straight sets against the German. Zverev is desperate to win his first grand slam again lost against Sinner. He is now 0-3 in the Tennis Grand Slam finals.
Jannik Sinner is too much for Sasha.
Only Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have won Grand Slams without losing a set. Jannik Sinner was outstanding and was willing to take huge risks to win points, while Zverev always stuck to his natural game without any risks. It was clearly visible in one of the intense rallies between the two players. During the second set, Sinner was trailing Zverev with 5-6. Sinner started the serve and Sasha was fighting hard to extend his lead.

But nothing worked against Sinner as the Italian was outstanding with his defence and didn’t give any space. The Rally continued for almost a minute and finally, Sinner was the one who emerged with a point. Jannik Sinner was too difficult to handle as his technique looked like it was made for Tennis.
The 2-time grand slam winner eventually won the finals by defeating Zverev in three straight sets. Jannik Sinner has a huge opportunity to make it a Calendar Grand Slam and Career Grand Slam if he wins all the remaining Grand Slams this year. His rival Carlos Alcaraz still needs to win the Australian Grand Slam as he won Wimbledon, US Open and French Open titles.
We can now easily say that Sinner is the king of hard courts after seeing his domination in the US and Australian Open tournaments. Wimbledon is played on grass and French Open is played on clay. The next grand slam will be the French Open in May followed by the Wimbledon in June and the US Open in August.
