The Tennis World No. 1 Jannik sinner complained to his team that he had issues moving to the left during his intense battle with Rune at the Australian Open 2025 Round 16 game. The Italian player was playing his match against Denmark’s Holger Rune during which he faced this issue.
Sinner is known for his powerful serves and aggressive moves which could be the reason for his hands shaking terribly during the match. When it comes to playing tennis his level of intensity is too high as he even broke one of his opponent's racquets with his serve.
The defending Australian Open champion is playing Rune one of the best tennis players in the world and the No. 13 seed in ATP rankings. The two best players are battling each other with Jannik leading by one set. Sinner won the first set while Rune gave fight back and won the second one. Again Sinner won the third one.

He told his team he wasn’t able to ‘move to his left’
Visibly struggling and hasn’t been the same for the last two sets
Likely adrenaline combined with not feeling 100%

In the third set, Jannik Sinner took a break as he complained about some issues with his body. His hand were shaking terribly and he couldn’t move to his left and was not feeling 100% good. It was visible when he was holding the sweat towel to his head.
After winning the third set he couldn’t play anymore and went for a medical timeout. Rune too had issues with his knees and called his physio for treatment. Tennis is a sport of endurance and players having these kinds of situations are completely normal as they play the game full of adrenaline and intensity.
Jannik Sinner is leading Rune 2-1 set and is playing his fourth set. The Italian tennis player is predicted to retain his Australian Open title but for that, he needs to win every match from now on. The Australian Open is the first of the four Grand Slams in Tennis which starts the new season every year.
