Tennis sensation and world number one Jannik Sinner reached the fourth round of the 2025 Australian Open after defeating Marcos Giron by 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 in the third round at Rod Laver Arena at the Melbourne Park on January 18.

The star player had a stunning start to his game and maintained his dominant form to mark the stellar win against the 31-year-old tennis star in the opening set of the game. The ATP number one star was seen struggling in the second set of the game but later hit some incredible and ridiculous shots to knock the American star out of the first Grand Slam of the year.

Earlier, the Italian made it to the third round of the Australian Open 2025 after beating Tristan Schoolkate in the second round thriller at the Melbourne Park on January 16, Thursday. The world number one suffered defeat in his first set of the game, surprising fans and the tennis fraternity, but made a stellar comeback and won the next three sets before winning the third round.

It's worth mentioning to note that tennis star Jannik Sinner had a stellar 2024 year as he won the Australian Open and US Open that year. The Italian poses a great chance to defend his Australian Open title this year and to maintain his top ATP rankings after his blistering performances at the Melbourne Park, which makes him a strong contender to head to win the title this time as well.
