The Bulgarian star has defeated Alejandro Tabilo in the third round of the prestigious event with a scoreline of 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 to storm into the last eight rounds of the marquee event.
Dimitrov had a great start to the game, sealing the first set after smacking a breathtaking shot. However, Tabilo staged his stellar comeback in the following sets of the match to level up the thriller. He stitched long rallies with the Bulgarian star. The 33-year-old tennis star then executed shots of the tournament, featuring his forehand, backhand, and drop shots, to mark a stellar win in the third and deciding set and storm into the quarter-finals.

The star player has reflected on his stellar win. The 33-year-old tennis star stated that he will be taking many positives heading to the next clash against Alex de Minaur, with two ATP players aiming to seal the semi-final berth.
“It is one of those matches that I just needed to go through. I played a lot of good tennis. There were a lot of positives to take out of that. I am just going one day at a time. I have put in the work. That’s all I have done. I am not even thinking of how I am playing or anything like that. I just wanna put in a lot of work. Honestly, it's beautiful, I have my mum around and it feels at home. I've been here for over 10 years and everything is so familiar," Grigor Dimitrov said after the win.
