There are a lot of top players who are looking forward to compete for Grand Slam glory. In fact we have even seen some big stars face early elimination in the game as well. One of the players we are hoping that he finally gets his season on the line is World number 5 Daniil Medvedev. This is also the venue where the Russian went on to win his first Grand Slam title after beating Novak Djokovic as well.

Daniil Medvedev might not be having the best of seasons as he he has failed to win a single title this year and had fallen short in the finals of some big tournaments as well. However the US Open is where he had one of his most iconic tournaments and it seems like he has found a bit of form in this edition as well as he has made it to round 3 after beating Moroszan in the second round.

Medvedev calming down the crowd

There is no doubt that Medvedev has started of his US Open campaign really well and this will be a tournament which he will want to continue keeping the same consistency in the last game he played. Medvedev beat Moroszan in straight sets and made sure he made it through to the 3rd round of the Grand Slam event. However what stole the show for everyone was his unique celebration where everyone saw him calming down the crowd after the victory, which might mean that the Russian might be taking this tournament seriously and does not want to celebrate to early at all.

This might be the best gesture from Medvedev who seems like is looking forward to save up his celebration until he finally gets his hands on his second Grand Slam title. The World number 5 seems serious and he might want to go the distance and get his hands on that trophy.
