The hype is on with the US Open coming up in just a few days and we all will be looking forward to seeing how the top players will perform in this upcoming Grand Slam event. This will be a tournament where all the players will get the opportunity to achieve Grand Slam glory and get their hands on a major title. We all will be looking forward to seeing who among these big stars will be the one who will emerge victorious on the day.
Though there are a lot of players who will be backed more there will be some fans who will want to see the best of Russian number one and World number 5 Daniil Medvedev. This will be a big match for the former US Open 2021 champion who will be looking to get into some form this season. There have not been a lot of big titles won by the Russian and the last finals he has played is in the Indian Wells Masters where he eventually lost to Alcaraz. It is safe to say that this is an opportunity he will want to take with both hands in New York.
Medvedev's weird warmup routine
There is no doubt that all the top players will be putting in the work before the Grand Slam event, especially Medvedev. However, the only thing that has gone viral so far is the Russian's weird routine during his practice sessions. Medvedev was bouncing the ball on the court and for some reason switches into football mode where he is heading the tennis ball. This was one of the weirdest things we have ever seen in a practice session where the fans were curious to know what Medvedev was up to while doing this.

Though there will be a lot of hilarious memes on this routine, it seems like Medvedev was just looking to have some fun during the practice session. Though we all would like to see the players being serious about a major Grand Slam event like the US Open, there should be instances of light-hearted moments as well. There will be a lot of jokes made on Medvedev after this but we hope he can prove his worth in the upcoming Grand Slam event.
