However, Gauff is set to have a daunting task in her next round. The 21-year-old tennis star is now set to face formidable WTA player Mirra Andreeva in the quarter-finals, with two top players aiming to seek the semi-final berth. Notably, the 17-year-old Russian won the Dubai tournament and the Indian Wells singles tournament before winning the Miami Open 2025 doubles. She can pose a big threat to Gauff in the next game.

After her stellar victory in the pre-quarterfinals, Coco Gauff was seen staying back for her post-win remarks. The 21-year-old star player was sharing the details about her pre-match diet, but was suddenly cut off and became inaudible on the mic from which she was speaking. Her reaction steals the show after she becomes inaudible.

"...I definitely had avocado toast and what else did I – Oh, fruits! So that was pretty much it. It was an early start," she said, giggling.

"I didn’t sleep that well last night, so maybe I just need to like not get a lot of sleep…" (inaudible)
