WATCH: Casper Ruud celebrates his Barcelona Open triumph with one legged pool dive

The career of Casper Ruud has been a bit of a rollercoaster journey filled with some of the great matches and heartbreaks. Ruud is currently 6th in the ATP rankings and has won 11 ATP singles titles and has even made it to 3 Grand Slam finals. The Norwegian is still regarded as one of the most talented players in his generation and has wins over top-ranked players like Holger Rune and Alexander Zverev. 

The Iceman recently won his first ATP 500 title in the  Barcelona Open after beating Stefanos Tsitsipas in two straight sets. This was one of the biggest wins of Casper Ruud’s career where he was able to break his ATP jinx of failing to win outside the ATP 250 but also got redemption for his Monte Carlo final loss. This was one of the triumphs to celebrate for the 25-year-old who finally announced himself on the big stage.

This achievement for Ruud is really worth celebrating and he managed to do it in style when the Barcelona champion 2024 was seen doing a one-legged cannonball pool dive. This made all his fans happy who went on to join him in the pool. These were great scenes where Ruud was seen celebrating his win and engaging with his fans. This is really a proud moment for all his fans who were waiting to see him finally win a big ATP tournament.

Casper Ruud is currently having a great season so far and he will want to continue his great form throughout. The fact that he managed to get big wins against one of the best players on clay is something that we should admire in him as a player. There are still a lot more big tournaments coming up and we can expect Ruud to be one of the players to watch out for going forward.
