Notably, Carlos Alcaraz has dominated the clay court fully after beating Jack Draper in the quarter-finals before defeating Italian star Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-final game to set his game against Jannik Sinner in the final showdown. After winning the ATP 1000 tournament, the 22-year-old tennis star was seen taking celebratory photos with his team, including his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero.

While taking the photos amid loud celebration, Carlos Alcaraz was seen asking his team to keep their voices low during their photoshoot, in case the world number one and his team were still present in the vicinity.

Carlos Alcaraz refutes the Rafael Nadal-Roger Federer rivalry with Jannik Sinner

Tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz has dismissed the suggestions that his rivalry with Jannik Sinner is the same as Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer's during their professional careers after his historic Italian Open 2025 win. Notably, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are regarded as players who seem to dominate the tennis world in the future, just like how Nadal and Federer ruled this sport from 2000 to 2010.

"I'm feeling that the people are putting so much – let's say, how can I say this – pressure in a certain way on both of us when we are facing each other. I'm not going to say I'm feeling like when Rafa and Roger are playing, but I'm feeling like there's a different energy when we are facing each other than other players," Carlos Alcaraz said.
