The Spaniard recently melted hearts with his gracious and thoughtful gesture for a worker boy in the 2025 Australian Open. In addition, the 21-year-old tennis star was seen greeting people with a big smile on his face, which has attracted attention for more than just his tennis skills.
Notably, the star player is all set to take on Alexander Shevchenko in his opening encounter. Alcaraz holds a 1-0 lead in their head-to-head record, having claimed a resounding 6-2, 6-1 win in their sole previous encounter at the 2024 Madrid Open. Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz opened up about his goals for the 2025 season, including winning as many Grand Slam and Masters 1000 titles as he could get his hands on.
"For me, the goals is trying to win Grand Slams and Masters 1000, that’s for me are the most important tournaments of the world. Obviously, the ranking is up there in the goals as well… trying to get as close as I can to Jannik, try to pass Zverev as well. So, the ranking is there, mainly thing for me is Grand Slams, try to win as much Grand Slams I can so that’s my goal," Alcaraz said.
