Tennis legend Bjorn Borg has praised star player Carlos Alcaraz while comparing the four-time Grand Slam winner with Rafael Nadal. The legendary player feels that Alcaraz might be winning at least one Grand Slam title in the three remaining Grand Slam tournaments in 2025.

The 11-time major champion was recently seen at the 'Teledepore' talking about the 21-year-old tennis star's big ambitions to etch his name in history books, claiming that Alcaraz will be eager to achieve what Rafael Nadal did in his career. Borg feels that the young Spaniard is an unbelievable player with the right mentality, allowing him to win many more Grand Slam titles in his career.

"I think he wants to achieve what Rafa did. He’s an unbelievable player. He’s still very young, and I hope he's going to win more Grand Slams and I think he will win more Grand Slams," Bjorn Borg told Teledepore.

Carlos Alcaraz hails Rafael Nadal's clay court legacy

Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz recently reflected upon Rafael Nadal's record of 11 Monte Carlo Masters titles after bagging his first on April 13th. The star player believes that the things that Rafa did on a clay court are some of the most difficult and greatest things.

Alcaraz feels that winning Monte Carlo titles 11 times with 14 Roland Garros titles seems like the best thing in the world. The star player feels that the achievements that have been achieved by Nadal seem impossible to replicate in the current era.

"I have been talking with my team several times about what Rafa did on clay, probably, it is one of the most difficult things to do in sport or one of the greatest things, not in tennis, in the whole sport. Winning the same tournament 11 times, 14 times, tournaments like this one, tournaments like Roland-Garros, it is the best tournaments in the world," Alcaraz said.
