Former World number 3 and former US Open winner Dominic Thiem wins the Lotterien Sporthilife Gala Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the game of tennis and also receives a special message from the big three who also appreciate his contribution to the sport. The Austrian gets all the respect he deserves for what he has achieved in the game.
The career of Dominic Thiem might have not gone to plan as he has suffered through a lot of injuries and did not have a career where everyone expected him to win some big tournaments. Thiem still went on to win 17 titles during his career which also includes a US Open in 2020 where he German superstar Alexander Zverev in a 5-set classic.
To go with this he has also made it to three Grand Slam finals as well. His career might have come to an end at the age of 31, but there are still some moments to remember when he proved he was among the most competitive players in the setup.

This is a moment Thiem will never forget and it was a great and heartfelt gesture from three of the biggest legends of the game to show respect to Thiem after receiving the award. It is safe to say that Thiem might have not had a longer career than them but he still won all of their hearts.
