The whole tennis World is finally ready for all the drama and suspence and will be looking forward to the US Open this season. There will be a lot of big stars in the game we all will be looking forward to and it will be great to see who will finally get their hands on the Grand Slam title in New York. There are also some young stars and old veterans who are looking forward to this event.

We saw one of the hyped games as young American star Ben Shelton was playing against former World number 3 Dominic Thiem in the first round match. This was also the last tournament for Thiem's career which unfortunately resulted in Shelton's favor who beat the former US Open 2020 champion in three straight sets. This was now the final Grand Slam match for Thiem.

Shelton urging the fans to Cheer for Thiem

This might have not been the perfect start for Dominic Thiem, but we still have to appreciate him for the great matches he has given us during his career which everyone should respect. This is exactly what Shelton did after the match as he did not only show his respect to the Austrian, but also urged the crowd to cheer for him on what is his farewell game. This was truly a great gesture from the young and upcoming star who wanted the whole crowd to get on their feet and give him Thiem all the respect and appreciation he deserves.

This was really a moment to cherish where we see Shelton hyping up the crowd and make sure they cheer the Austrian former Grand Slam winner. These were great scenes to see which showed how much Thiem means to the people in the tennis fraternity and how much this game meant to a young prodigy like Shelton.
