The world number one has ousted Liudmila Samsonova with a scoreline of 6-2, 6-3 to knock her out of the marquee event. The Belarusian seems to be in great form and aiming to leave no stone unturned to win the title here.

The 26-year-old star player had a great start to the game, dominating the first set of the contest, completely to take an early lead in the game. Aryna Sabalenka continued her form in the next set, hitting some stunning shots to baffle Samsonova to gain control over her weakness. Aryna Sabalenka to face Madison Keys in Indian Wells 2025 semi-finals

Meanwhile, Sabalenka is now set to have a big challenge in front of her in the the next round. The world number one is now set to face Madison Keys in the semi-final. Notably, the two star players faced each other during the 2025 Australian Open final, where Keys thwarted her in the straight set to win the first major of her career and broke her winning momentum of becoming the first-ever woman to mark a historic three-peat.

Madison has been in great form and currently holds fifth in the world rankings in the recent WTA list. Sabalenka must be aiming to take revenge for her loss in the first Grand Slam of the year to Keys. On the flip side, Keys aims to improve her head-to-head record against the Belarusian star.
