Iga Swiatek to face Mirra Andreeva in Indian Wells 2025 semi-finals!
Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek is set to face a daunting task here as she will be taking on Mirra Andreeva in the Semi-Final thriller. The 17-year-old teenager recently stunned the five-time Grand Slam winner during their quarterfinal clash of the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships and later went on to win the title. The two players will be looking to showcase their stellar talent to book the final berth of the WTA 1000 event.
Swiatek has reflected upon her win over Qinwen Zheng. The 23-year-old star player revealed that she always wanted to take revenge for her Paris Olympics loss to Zheng. The Polish star talked about the mistakes she made against the Chinese star in the Olympics and how she improved in the Indian Wells 2025 quarterfinal.
“I want to show myself and everybody that I can do it, and I already knew before the Olympics match, I know now. It’s not nice to lose to anybody, so for sure you want to have a little, I don’t know, like revenge, but it’s nothing personal,” Iga Swiatek said after the win.
