Aryna Sabalenka hit an iconic drop shot in her match against Mananchaya Sawangkaew in the China Open. The Belarusian displayed her class and efficiency again this season with this exceptional shot which proves why she is among the best players in the world and started her campaign in Beijing in great fashion.
This was a great start for Aryna Sabalenka, who beat the Mananchaya Sawangkaew in straight sets to win her first game in the tournament. The World number 2 is in great form at starting off her hard-court season by winning Cincinnati and the US Open this season. Sabalenka has also opened up on her goals and that she will be hoping to finish the season as the World number 1 and the way she has been playing so far there is no doubt that there is a chance that might happen in the future.
The drops shot full of class by Sabalenka
Though there were some great highlights from Sabalenka in her first China Open match, it was the iconic drop shot that was executed really well by the Belarusian that stole the show. This is clearly one of the shots of the tournament that none of us can forget at all, the way the ball dipped and had an incredible amount of backspin which resulted in the ball just bouncing over the net was a sight to witness and we could see real world-class tennis on display.

She’s added so much more feel to her game this year.
When she uses it at the right moment in combination with her power, she’s almost unplayable.
This tiger’s got finesse. 🐯
