Amanda Anisimova's Indian Wells and Miami Open stint!
Anisimova must be happy with her performance, as she failed to make her impact in the recently concluded Miami Open 2025. The American star suffered defeat in the fourth round of the 1000 Masters against Emma Raducanu before she got eliminated in the opening round of the Indian Wells 2025. Star player Belinda Bencic defeated her in the round of 64 in California.
Meanwhile, Amanda Anisimova has shared her thoughts on her magnificent win over her fellow American star. The star player has revealed how tough it was for her to face her fellow teammate Emma Navarro in the quarter-final clash.
"Emma is an amazing competitor. An amazing player. I wish this was a final. I feel so bad that we had to play each other this early on. She’s been playing great tennis. It’s never easy to play her. She has a great attitude. It wasn’t easy but I tried to stop being so negative and just focus on every point. I’m happy with the way I was able to play," Anisimova said after the win.
