Alexander Zverev is set to be in action in the Miami Open 2025
Meanwhile, Alexander Zverev is gearing up for the Miami Open 2025 after the conclusion of the Indian Wells Masters 1000 tournament in California. The top-seeded star has made his way to Florida earlier than he would have wished for. The world number two suffered an early exit at the Indian Wells 2025, where he suffered a crushing defeat against Tallon Griekspoor.
The star player was in great form in the Australian Open 2025, where he reached the finals before losing to Jannik Sinner in the summit clash. However, Zverev has been suffering a poor run of results since the first Grand Slam of the year's defeat.
Alexander Zverev opens up on his poor form after the Australian Open 2025 final
Meanwhile, Alexander Zverev has admitted that he has been out of form since his Australian Open 2025 final defeat. The star player acknowledged that he has not been playing good tennis currently and is not at the level where he wants to play.
"Yeah, I don't know. Maybe a little bit, but I can sit here and have excuses, but at the end of the day I'm just not playing good tennis at the moment. It's as simple as that," Alexander Zverev responded in a presser.
"I'm not playing a level that I want to play; definitely not playing anywhere near what I played in Australia. This is the end result of, I don't know, yeah, maybe the Australian Open. But I'm just, yeah, I'm just disappointed with my game. That's No. 1 thing for me," he added further.
