“I need to say a big thanks to my team. Maybe some of you know I’ve been facing some difficult injuries with the knee. It’s been a long road back. Obviously struggles to get some titles as well.. Get that momentum going back on the court. My team and the people close to me, my family kept lifting me up, putting me back in the right pathway when I’ve been down. These titles would not be possible without them. Thank you guys so much," Denis Shapovalov said after the win.
