Tennis players dominate Phorbes' Highest-Paid Female Athletes list for 2025

Eight of the top ten Highest-Paid Female Athletes in the Phorbes' list for 2025 feature WTA players. Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka, and Iga Swiatek are in the top three spots, proving how women are paid well in Tennis. The list also features the likes of Qinwen Zheng, Madison Keys, Naomi Osaka, Elena Rybakina, and Jessica Pegula.

The USA's Gauff topped the list for the 2025 season with a total earning of $33.0M. Belarusian Sabalenka followed her with a total earning of $30.0M. In the third position was Poland's Iga, who had a total earning of $25.1M in 2025. All of the top three players were from WTA.

The only non-Tennis player in the list in the top 5 was Eileen Gu of China, a Freestyle Skiier, who had a total earning of $23.1M. Her fellow national and the 2024 Olympic Gold Medalist, Qinwen Zheng, was in the fifth spot with a total earning of $22.6M. Madison Keys was sixth in the list with a total earning of $13.4M.

Tennis players dominate Phorbes' Highest-Paid Female Athletes list

The USA's Golfer, Nelly Korda, was seventh on the list with a total earning of $13.0M. Japan's Naomi Osaka, Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina, and the USA's Jessica Pegula were eight, ninth, and tenth with a total earning of $12.5M, $12.5M, and $12.3M, respectively. In the top 20, a couple of other WTA stars featured too.

Amanda Anisimova and Jasmine Paolini were 12th and 17th with a total earning of $11.3M and $8.3M, respectively. In the top 20, other top female Sports athletes like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Sabrina Lonescu, Paige Bueckers, Ilona Maher, Lindsey Vonn, Jeeno Thitikul, and Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone featured.
