Iga Swiatek thanked her voters who were responsible for her winning the Billie Jean King Cup Heart Award 2025. The Welsh Tennis star claimed that being honored with the award will motivate her to put more efforts for the 2026 season. She further announced that she would donate the prize money of the award to the Smeczem w Raka Foundation.

"I wanted to thank everyone for voting for me so I could receive the Billie Jean King Cup Heart Award. I’m really grateful for that and it will really motivate me even more. So thank you for that," said Iga Swiatek in a video posted on Instagram after winning the Billie Jean King Cup Heart Award.

Iga will be back in action in the next few weeks ahead of the Hard Court season. She will hope to win the title in the Australian Open, which is the only Grand Slam she has yet to win in her career. In 2025, she won her first-ever Wimbledon title.

"Hopefully many more people will contribute," - Iga Swiatek

In her statement, Swiatek added that her prie money from the Billie Jean King Cup Heart Award would be donated to the Poloish foundation that helps players and coaches figth cancer. She hoped for more people to contribute towards the case and wished her fans for Christmas.

"I also wanted to announce that the budget for the award will go to Smeczem w Raka Foundation, it’s a Polish foundation that helps tennis players and tennis coaches fight cancer. So I think it’s a really important cause and hopefully many more people will contribute. Merry Christmas and take care," Iga added.
