Tennis legend Rafael Nadal is all set to make his appearance at a tennis event after his retirement. The 38-year-old star player played his last competitive game at the Davis Cup Final last month in Malaga. However, as per recent reports, the Manacor-born star player will be in attendance at the Next Gen ATP Finals, which is slated to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The tournament is slated to take place from December 18 to December 22.
The Spaniard's presence in Saudi Arabia is significant, as he was chosen as the ambassador of the Saudi Tennis Federation. The 22-time Grand Slam champion will endeavour to spread the sport in the nation and has committed to opening a game in the region. However, this move was criticised by some due to Saudi Arabia's poor human rights record in the global arena.
Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal left a legacy not only in the world of tennis but in the world of sports. The 38-year-old tennis legend's attitude toward the game, intensity, and determination have been inspirational. From winning 22 major titles and 36 Masters 1000 titles to winning Davis Cup titles and two Olympic gold medals, this man has achieved almost everything.

Rafa, don’t retire I wanna play you 1 last time: Nick Kyrgios
Back in October, tennis legend Rafael Nadal spoke about his intention to retire from tennis after playing for his nation at the 2024 Davis Cup Finals. After the same, several fans dropped their emotional posts about the tennis star.
One among them was the Aussie star, Nick Kyrgios. He tweeted, “Rafa don’t retire I wanna play you 1 last time.” Kyrgios said Rafael Nadal is like an “inspiration” to him and further added, “We had our differences but you were one hell of a warrior. Best wishes and good luck with whatever comes next.” Now, almost one month has passed since his retirement! How does Kyrgios look at that moment?
