The tennis world will be going into Asia and though the Big Three might not be featuring a lot during this season we still have some young players who might take tennis to a different level. One of the players who is already considered one of the best in the World is Carlos Alcaraz. The 21-year-old Spaniard has achieved a lot in the game and has continued to give consistent performances this season as well.

Though most of the 2024 season has belonged to Jannik Sinner, we cannot ignore the great performances of Alcaraz who has won 2 Grand Slam titles and is the current World number 3. In the last tournament, we saw some more impressive performances from the Spaniard where he single-handedly took Team Europe to their 5th Laver Cup title winning 8 points for his team. There is no doubt going into the Asian tour he will still be one of the favourites in the tournament and most likely win some more titles.
Andy Roddick praises Alcaraz
There is already a lot of praise for Carlos Alcaraz for his performances this season and the person who has praised him again is former World number 1 Andy Roddick who praised the 4-time Grand Slam winner for his performances and the impact he has had on the game. Roddick has made a statement on his podcast saying " It's kind of the thing we saw with the big three and now they're discussing Carlos in that same light and he proved them right."
This statement by Roddick was enough to tell us why Alcaraz is considered one of the greatest players in the game of tennis. It is safe to say Alcaraz has already built an aura of greatness around him very early into his career and we hope he keeps giving us great performances like this going forward. The era of Alcaraz is already making waves and there is no doubt that he will continue being an absolute sensation in the world of tennis.
