The Paris 2024 Summer Olympics will begin on July 26, with tennis events starting the very next day. The tournament runs until August 4 and all matches will be played at the iconic Stade Roland Garros, home of the French Open. The top 16 seeds for the men's and women's singles tournaments were announced recently.

Fans across the world are eagerly waiting for the competition as their favourite superstars from two generations are going to face each other. It is also noteworthy that this will be a swan song for many veteran stars. Without further ado, let's take a look at the three favourites to win gold in men’s singles at the Paris Olympics.

3. Jannik Sinner

Jannik Sinner had an awful campaign at Wimbledon as he lost to Daniil Medvedev in the quarter-finals. Following the loss, he revealed that he had not been feeling well since the morning of the match. However, the world number one will enter the tournament with a fresh mind and a fit body after taking a break from on-court action.

Sinner, who won the Australian Open and Halle Championship earlier this year, withdrew from the Bastad Open due to fatigue. The 22-year-old is one of the top contenders to win the Olympic gold.

The 2024 Paris Olympics will likely be one of the greatest players in history, Novak Djokovic's final appearance at the Olympics. The owner of 24 Grand Slam titles, the 37-year-old has yet to win an Olympic gold, the only notable achievement missing from his impressive resume.

The Serbian finished as the runner-up in the recently concluded despite entering the tournament with injury concerns. He was recently seen sweating it out during the training session and is aiming to come out with flying colours this time.

It wouldn't be surprising to see Carlos Alcaraz at the top of the list. The young sensation from Spain is in tremendous form as he won his fourth Grand Slam title by defeating Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final. The 21-year-old has already demonstrated his skills on several occasions and it will be interesting to see how he fares in his maiden campaign at the Olympics.
