Novak Djokovic set to travel to Wimbledon despite participation in uncertain after knee surgery

The Wimbledon is not far away and there is already a lot of hype for the Grand Slam tournament, which will also feature some new stars in the making. After all, it is a Grand Slam tournament with a rich history and we all have enjoyed some great matches in this tournament. There have been a lot of great legends that have given us some iconic moments during the Grass court season.

The people will still look forward to the thrill and excitement of the tournament consisting of some of the best players in the world, but there is still one player whose participation seems uncertain. The player we will be talking about is 7-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic, who has just completed his knee surgery. Even though the Serbian has been showing great recovery, it is still not confirmed whether he will be participating in the tournament, which will disappoint some tennis fans completely.

Djokovic set to travel 

Though it seems like Djokovic chances of playing this season at Wimbledon are highly unlikely, the 37-year-old is still set to travel to Wimbledon and keep his chances alive. This will be a surprise for everyone to see him participate in this major tournament as he has recently just had his surgery. There will be a lot of fans who will be hoping for him to play in this tournament. This could also be a chance for him to get back on top of the rankings as well. 

This will be one of the greatest comebacks for him as he will be looking for his 8th title in this tournament. This has not been the best season for Djokovic as he has gone trophyless and has failed to defend his Roland Garros crown. Though it is still uncertain whether he is going to be playing at Wimbledon or not, it is still a great thing to see that he has planned to travel and still appear in a tournament that he has dominated in the past.
