Tennis legend Novak Djokovic seems confident and feels that he possesses the ability to still win Grand Slams, commencing at the Australian Open 2025, slated to take place in mid-January in Melbourne. The Serbian aims his bid for an 11th title win and record-extending 25th major crown in the forthcoming showpiece event. It marks the first-ever season since the 37-year-old began playing that none of the other so-called greatest rivals would be on the other side following the retirements of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Andy Murray.

However, as the above tennis legends faded, world number one Jannik Sinner and world number three Carlos Alcaraz stepped up to become the new kings in the tennis world and give strong competition to the Serbian. As doubts grew over the 37-year-old's motivation to play next year, he stunned the tennis fraternity by hiring Andy Murray as his new head coach.

I still will try to go strong because I feel like my body is serving me well: Novak Djokovic

Meanwhile, it seems a big boost and a great opportunity for the 37-year-old tennis legend, as top players with the likes of world number two Iga Swiatek and world number one Jannik Sinner have been accused of doping, and there is no update about them taking part in the 2025 Australian Open.

“I still will try to go strong because I feel like my body is serving me well. I still have motivation to win Grand Slams, make more history. That’s one of the biggest reasons why I asked Andy to work with me, because I still have big plans, so as long as that’s the case, I will keep going. You work hard on lots of things in the pre-season, and the first tournament before the Major is where you can try it out and see what’s going to work well for you, and what’s not,” said the Serb.
