Former tennis player Rick Macci recently shared the key adjustments that star players like Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner should make to take their game to the pinnacle and elevate their game from ordinary to extraordinary. The two tennis players had exceptional 2024, with Carlos winning four titles while Sinner registered victories in eight tournaments.

The two also won the two Grand Slam titles each, with the Spaniard winning the French Open and Wimbledon while Sinner registered victories in the Australian Open and USA Open. However, Alcaraz also secured a silver medal in the Paris Olympics 2024 after suffering defeat against the legendary player Novak Djokovic in the final thriller.

Meanwhile, the Spaniard also won the Indian Wells Masters and the China Open. On the other hand, the Italian won the ABN AMRO Open, Miami Open, Terra Wortmann Open, Cincinnati Open, Shanghai Masters, and the recently concluded ATP Finals.

However, Rick Macci took to social media and stated that Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner needed to work a bit smarter. The 70-year-old tennis legend feels that this will propel the Spaniard and the Italian from ordinary to extraordinary in the tournaments.

“For Alcaraz or Sinner to climb to another level, it is not about really working harder which is mandatory it is working smarter and adding a few microscopic mental aggressive beliefs on BIG points that flip the script from ordinary to extraordinary. @janniksin @carlosalcaraz," Macci posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Where did Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner commence their 2025 journey?

The two-star players, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, will open their 2025 edition at the Australian Open, slated to take place in mid-January in Melbourne. Sinner will be looking to defend his title, while Carlos will be looking to grab the title.
