Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic admitted that he hasn't been able to find the desired level of tennis so far. The 37-year-old legend acknowledged he hadn't given his best in the recent ATP tours with likes of Indian Wells and Qatar Open 2025 in Doha, where he suffered opening-round defeats against unseeded players.

The star player further added that he wasn't able to find the quality of the game after retiring in the Australian Open 2025 semi-final game against world number two Alexander Zverev. The Serbian ace said that he has been trying extremely hard to get back to his old form. Notably, the former world number one seems optimistic about regaining his old form.

“Let’s say I am in a pursuit to find the desired level of tennis. I haven't played my best, even close to my best in Indian Wells and Doha. After I retired in my semi-finals in Australia, I haven’t been able to find that quality of tennis I’ve been looking for. I’ve been working hard, giving it my all on the practice court. Eventually it’s going to come, I know that. Hopefully here. I played great in Australia, I thought I had a pretty good shot at the title in Melbourne. It’s unfortunate that it ended for me the way that it ended,” Djokovic said in a press conference.
