Tennis stalwarts Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic have met on the practice court ahead of the Miami Open 2025, which is slated to take place later this week in Florida. The two tennis players were seen embracing each other, with Andy Murray joining Alcaraz in the net session.

The fans were ecstatic after witnessing the video of them embracing each other, and they hailed them for their kind behavior despite their great rivalries on the court.

The 21-year-old star will be aiming to win his first title here since 2022. Meanwhile, the Serbian ace is set to compete at Hard Rock Stadium after missing editions from 2020 to 2024.

The two great rivals once again exchanged a few words, with the Serbian legend after finishing his practice session with his newly appointed coach, Andy Murray, and the Spaniard replacing him on the court. Notably, if these two players emerge victorious in the first four rounds, the duo will be facing each other in the semi-finals of the Miami Open 1000 Masters tournament.

The two players last met in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open 2025. Notably, Novak Djokovic defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals to storm into the semi-finals, where he had retired out against Alexander Zverev. Djokovic lost the first set and then had a medical time-out, which disrupted Alcaraz's winning momentum and allowed the 24-time major title winner to gain control over the 21-year-old Alcaraz to win the game.

Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz must be aiming to stage his comeback after his crushing loss against Jack Draper in the Indian Wells 2025 semi-finals. The world number three is set to start his next Miami Open campaign against Alexander Vukiv or David Goffin.

Tennis sensation Novak Djokovic has marked his return to the forthcoming Miami Open 2025, and the Serbian ace is set to feature in the Masters 1000 event for the first time since 2019.

The legendary player will be keen to win his first title in this tournament since 2016. Djokovic already has six titles to his name in the showpiece event and will be hopeful of claiming a seventh title at the Miami Open in Florida.
