Nick Kyrgios is the most controversial tennis player in the world right now, as he often indulges in verbal battles with many players and fans. The Australian was the only player to openly question Jannik Sinner about his doping saga for which he has been investigated.

He was also very critical of the ITIA's decision to give the verdict in the Italian's favour for his doping case. Sinner tested positive for using a banned substance called Closterbol during the BNP Paribas Open last year. It was a substance that could improve muscle strength and help players hit powerful shots. But Sinner claimed that the substance entered his body unintentionally when he was treated for an injury.

Jannik Sinner is Nick Kyrgios favourite player?

But Nick doesn’t believe Jannik Sinner’s claims and demands at least a 2-year ban for Jannik Sinner. The World No. 1 ATP player was asked about Nick Kyrgios’s constant criticism but didn’t want to respond to any comments. A fan has now posted a video in which Nick Kyrgios was saying his favourite player in tennis was Jannik Sinner, which was a shocker to everyone. The man who was too critical about the sinner saying he was his favourite player is a clear contradiction.

But the Australian himself came into the defence and said that was all before Sinner was caught for doping. Nick said, “This was before he was found with roids in his system.” To support Nick, one fan posted, "Jannik Sinner and his team were confident to find the source of the contamination almost immediately. It could have been from some food/drink or one of the many supplements/medicines elite athletes take. But it took over 5 months for his failed test to be finally made public.”

The Australian, Nick Kyrgios, returned to play at his home grand slam, the Australian Open 2025. But he was suffering from an abdominal injury and lost in the opening rounds of the tournament. But Jannik Sinner played the finals and won the grand slam for the second time. Nick wished to play against Jannik Sinner and wanted to turn his home crowd against him. But it didn’t happen due to his early exit.
