Nick Kyrgios took a shot at ATP's transparency in its decision to ban Jannik Sinner for a small period upon getting caught for using a banned substance. The Australian appeared on a podcast by Josh Mansour where he claimed that Sinner nearly got away, as ATP didn't punish him enough, like they do with others who get caught similarly.

"He was the number one player in the world [when he tested positive] and there is no doubt he is an incredible player and he is going to be carrying the sport for the next 10 to 15 years with Alcaraz," Kyrgios said on the UNSCRIPTED by Josh Mansour podcast.

And like the whole story for me is bulls**t," Kyrgios added in his statement. While the star player indeed criticised ATP, he regarded Sinner highly as a player.
