Maria Sharapova, David Beckham, Gareth Southgate, and Stuart Broad attended the first day of the Wimbledon 2025 in the Centre Court. Before the start of play on Day 1, Sharapova interacted with Beckham outside the stadium and the duo even clicked a photo. Southgate and Beckham sat together and watched matches in the Centre Court.

All of the popular sports personalities sat in the Royal Box and watched matches for long hours. Broad was spotted with his wife and pop star Mollie King, who is known for her chartbusters. Along with them, the sports business executive James Worrall, Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe were also in the arena.

Beckham, Redmayne, and Hannah regularly attend Wimbledon in the Centre Court. All of them are sent an invitation from the Chairman of the All England Club. These celebrities are handpicked by The Lawn Tennis Association and the tournament’s organising committee.

Shocking Round 1 exits in Wimbledon 2025

Over the years, many other celebrities have also appeared in Wimbledon to watch the best Tennis stars play, which include Sachin Tendulkar, Joe Root, and many other cricketers. Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, Ons Jabeur, and Zheng Qinwen exited from Wimbledon 2025.
