'Karma baby Karma'- Fans react to World number 11 Danielle Collins early exit in Guadalajara Open

Fans give a negative reception on Social media to Danielle Collins who faced an early exit in the Guadalajara Open losing in straight sets to Gadecki.

This season of tennis has been about the young stars who have been giving some of their best performances so far. We all have enjoyed the progress of the next generation of tennis, but along with that there have also been some veterans who have enjoyed some great moments in the game. You might think that these players are close to hanging up their racquet, but they have still had some great moments this season.

One of the veterans we are talking about is Danielle Collins who has started this season very well as she went on to win the Miami Open and Charleston Open. However, after that we could only see her losing in the knockouts. Collins started of the season where she went from World 29 to World number 11, but after the defeat in the Olympics she has started to face another losing streak in this season.

Collins faces early exit

The first round defeat in US Open made sure that Collins Greand Slam dream is ruined again where it seems like the American is looking forward to qualifying for the WTA finals as she goes on to feature in the Gudalajara Open. However this tournament ended up being eliminated in the first round once again losing to Olivia Gadecki in straight sets  which also makes it tough start to her journey to make it to the WTA finals as well. This is now the 4th consecutive defeat for Collins with which she will be disaappointed.

This has also got the fans to give some strong and negative reaction on social media, with fans also bringing up some of her arguments and brash behavious she showed on the court. Collins is suddenly facing some more backlash on social media, with fans demanding a retirement as well. Though Collins still has an outside chance to make it to the WTA finals, but this loss in no way will make it easier for her this season. It is safe to say that the World number 11's season is not ending on a great note so far.
