Tennis star Jack Draper has stated that he wants to keep on progressing after storming into the top five ATP rankings as a result of a successful last few months. The British star has reached the finals of the Mutua Madrid Open 2025 before losing it to Casper Ruud in a thrilling three-set match.

Jack Draper had earlier stormed into the Qatar Open 2025 final but suffered a defeat against eventual champion Andrey Rublev in the summit clash. However, the tennis player won Indian Wells 2025 after defeating Holger Rune in the summit clash. Thereafter, he did make it to the finals of the Madrid Open but faltered against Ruud in the final clash.
The British star must be eyeing the second ATP title in the Italian Open 2025. The young sensation might stun the fraternity with his performance in Rome ahead of the French Open 2025.
The star player has stormed into the top five ATP rankings after his stellar ATP runs recently, where he stunned the tennis world with his remarkable form. Draper has talked about how strong preparations he did to topple Novak Djokovic, who was sitting in the fifth spot. The 23-year-old tennis star seems ecstatic after storming into the top five and aims to continue his progress heading to the forthcoming ATP tour.
“With all honesty, with rankings I don’t really think about it because I was thinking about my preparation for the match, I was thinking about how I could do the best I can to get through that one. It was an amazing feeling after I had done it but I want to keep on progressing. Regardless of my ranking I’ve always been the same. I’ve used that fear and doubt to motivate me to want to do the best I can for every match. Nothing changes regardless of what level I am,” stated Draper, in an exclusive interview with Sky Sports.
