Jack Draper had earlier stormed into the Qatar Open 2025 final but suffered defeat against eventual champion Andrey Rublev. However, the tennis player wins Indian Wells 2025 after defeating Holger Rune in the summit clash. He must be eyeing the Madrid Open victory here to give his nation another chance to celebrate with him.
Meanwhile, the tennis player has reflected on his remarkable win against Musetti. He admitted that the two ATP players played a quality game since the first ball of the opening set. The Brit sensation has reflected upon his childhood bond with Musetti after thwarting the Italian out of the tournament.
“I felt like both of us, our quality didn’t really drop from the first ball. Credit to Lorenzo; he’s obviously playing so well on the clay. I played him on hard and on grass when we were juniors, growing up with him. But on clay, he’s a different beast, so to get this win on this court in this stage, the semi-finals, it means so much to me,” said Draper after reaching the finals.
