However, the Spain-born star's new look has failed to impress the tennis fraternity, with many of them expressing frustration with his long-time barber for his recent look. Notably, the star player has returned to his old hairstyle ahead of the 2025 season's first Grand Slam major, and this 2024 Wimbledon winner has set his eyes on completing the Grand Slam in the Australian Open, slated to take place from January 12 in Melbourne. For that, this Spaniard has now chosen a kangaroo, thinking it would be a fitting tribute to Melbourne.

However, Carlos Alcaraz himself finally reacted to his hairstyle after his thrilling charity match against Alex de Minaur ahead of the 2025 Australia Open. The four-time major champion was asked about his recent haircut. In reply to that, Alcaraz revealed that the summer season in Australia forced him to have this haircut, and he discussed this thing with his barber. The Spaniard's quick answer on his haircut made the audience amused and thrilled.
“I discussed with my barber that when I get a haircut... three days later it’s grown out. So I have to go more often. It’s a new year. I knew I was going to be here in Australia. 40 Degrees. It’s summer here. I thought I needed something new. I already did this haircut a few years ago, and I just like it. Probably this year is going to be a new Carlitos in style," Carlos Alcaraz said.
