The marquee event itself is a top WTA 500 tournament set to take place from February 4 to March 2, 2025, at Yucatan Country Club in Merida, Mexico.

This showpiece event is now set to feature a formidable lineup of players and offers significant prize money and ranking points. This event was upgraded from WTA 250 and rescheduled to fill up a vacancy in the WTA calendar. Here are the details of the players who were spotted at the party.

Paula Badosa, a 2025 Australian Open semi-finalist currently ranked 10th in the rankings, is seeded second in the Merida Open and is known for her strong performances on the WTA tour. The 27-year-old star player can once again make waves with her performance here.
