Tennis star Naomi Osaka has captivated fans' hearts in the French Open 2025 not only with her strong performances but also with her self-designed 'Nike Sakura' kit. This kit has been making audacious headlines at the Roland Garros. She has recently collaborated with the 'Nike fashion brand and draws inspiration from Japanese cherry blossoms.

Just a few days back, the Japanese star's bouquet of the flowers—inspired Grand Slam outfits during the 2025 edition—was fully in bloom. The star player stated the inspiration for the sneaker she will wear in the ongoing French Open 2025. She further highlighted that her shoes feature the four shades of soft pink—titled Pink Foam, Pale Pink, Polarized Pink, and Hyper Pink.

This move comes after the star player was teased last month that she has aspirations of treating every Grand Slam just like the Met Gala when it comes to her on-court look. The four-time Grand Slam winner has been known for head-turning outfits that draw on influences from her family, heritage, and outside interests as well.

She has confirmed during the Australian Open 2025 that she will be wearing flower-themed shoes at every Grand Slam tournament this year.

“The shoes are Sakura themed. Which is just in time for spring, which is Sakura season. It follows the flower story that we have throughout the year. I’m really excited about the kit because I designed it. I don’t know why Nike is letting me do this stuff. I say this every Slam. But I think it’s really adorable. I’m just excited. I don’t know if you can see from all the way over here but I did my nails. They’re Sakura themed too. I’m really sticking to the flower story that we have,” Osaka said.
